For students in northern Israel, particularly border communities, the measures are even more extensive. These include internal exam options for humanities, grade bonuses for non-Jewish students, and reduced exam questions for students on the Israel-Lebanon border, along with simplified mother-tongue assessments. The goal of these reforms is to reduce stress, stabilize learning, and ensure fairer evaluation processes during a period of ongoing regional instability, with adjustments to be made as the security situation develops.
